fresh fish and fresh prawn
cut away the prawn 'misai' and kaki
the fish is clean and sliced~
cut off the bone so tat its easier for us to eat~~!!
the price of fishes,prawn and all kinds of seafood increase quite alot due to CNY~
































besides steamboat
we hav side dishes as well~
this is the stuffed tau pok
which is made by ME!
hahaha... it not suppose to look this ugly~
but my sis cut the tau pok wrongly~
so this is the only way i can stuffed them~
the tau pok contains the japanese taufu,minced pork,minced prawn
and some seasoning such as salt,peppar,sesame oil~
its yummy!!!!
hehehehe~


























this is wat we usually hav on CNy
which is a kind of spring roll stuffed with meat
in chinese we named it 烧卷
inside it contains minced pork,minced prawn,water chessnut,garlic,pig's liver and an egg
and oso seasoning suck as salt , sugar , sesame oil ~
all the ingredients must be CHOPED FINELY!!
let all the ingredients rest in the refrigerator for hours
and then add in corn flour
wrap into this kind of skin
whr u can get it in market
wrapping process is very important as u cannot wrap it too loosely or it will not be nice after u cut them
if u wrap too tight they wil end up too hard
and it suppose to be in ROUND shape..
not this pillow shape which i made ( FAILED!!! )
steam for few minutes and let it cool down
and them deep fried until the skin turns golden~
cut them into pieces and its ready to served~~
hehehehe~~

my favourite fresh prawn noodles~
i do really like the noodles to be 'sang min' which is actually the wantan min type of noodle..
deep fried sang min top up with the flavourful gravy!!!
of course the gravy cooked with the prawn taste sweet and oso FRESH!
only fresh prawn can be done this way or not it would be not yummy
the fresh prawn still remain its sweetness after cooking
i like this very much!!!
























nobody would really notice bout this yummylicious sang har min from this shop
and of course
its actually a OLD shop whr they hav started their business ages ago...
last time,
u wil impressed with the number of calendar they hanging on the wall
but as times goes by... lesser and lesser company printing calendar
tats why Sin Ban Fatt dun really hav lots of calendar nowadays~
although the shop is an OLD shop
but the quality of the food is stil up to standard
during weekdays, lunch time...
this place wil full of business

next up is the Fried Yam cake which chosen by sy~~
find it yummylicous!
the best thing is the yam cake is filled with yam
oh i mean tat u can eat the yam cubes in the yam cake
usually some restaurant juz put a couple or two yam cubes and they claimed it yam cake
but actually when u eat it... u are eating the flour saja~~
but this 1 is filled with yam cubes!!
oh not to forget the CHILI PASTE
which combine with the yam cake very well~
the chili paste is made of dried shrimp
which i LOVE it alooooot!!!
the portion is quite big lah~

of course the xiu-loong-pau is a MUST TRY
as the entrance there ,
there is a large poster writing

and they can see how the sifu make this xiu loong pau~
a must for a xiu loong pau is tat the soup inside must taste fresh and sweet!!!
the meat must be well marinated and of course.. FRESH!
and the xiu loong pau here is soupy and the meat is FRESH!!!
can be compare with the dragon-i 1~~

the 1st time when i went into this shop
i actually wanna pack the red bean tong shui for my mom
but when i approach the boss
he being so rude saying tat they DONT DO ANY TAKE AWAY
he insist tat take away is something WASTING TIME
and seems like wanna chase me off from the shop..
i hav really BAD impression with them

but i decided to give them a try
as my friend was telling me tat the tong shui thr quite nice wor..





























this is the yam sai mai lou with glutinous rice ball
oh yea~ i love this SO MUCH!
i regret order the small version
i should go for the big 1!!!
this yam sai mai lou really tasty
and the great things is tat there are some yam tiny tiny cubes in it too
i love it!!!
as for the glutinous rice ball
i guess they buy from the outside 1 which hav the sesame fillings
i find this yummy too~
the combination of both of them are yummy as well..
the small version comes with 1 sesame glutinous rice ball only

i insist this durian pancake
i thought it gonna be very great!
but....
the layer of cream is so thick
can u see tat?
the durian flesh is juz like 30%..
70% of cream
and i find it geli
i guess this wil be very fattening
look at the amount of cream they give~~~
no wonder the durian pancake look fat and bengkak...
inside all cream lah..
i rate 1 out of 5 for this durian pancake...
compare to desert sumptious

other than the durian pancake
we order the curry fishball too
the fishball is those frozen fishball tat u can find in the market..
and the curry paste is not as flavourful as the pasar malam 1 actually~

when i noe wat is Sung Kei Beef Ball noodle

the beef here got no 'beefy' smell at all~

oh yea
chinese new year is around the corner
is every1 in the mood now?
my mom start washing this and cleaning that.
start hanging up those red lantern....
start buying mandarin oranges
as for me?
i start vacuum my room's carpet
its so so so so dusty
and something i did today
which make me like stupid!!!
the story begin with a vacuum cleaner
ntg wrong with the vacuum cleaner rite?
okay... the problem is
some1 who noe nothing bout the vacuum cleaner and clumsy is using the vacuum cleaner!
the vacuum cleaner got 2 holes to put the 'pipe' in
1 is to suck
1 is to blow
the stupid me dunno tat there are 2 holes
then i put in the pipe in the blow hole
and the disaster begins
when i operate the vacuum cleaner!
oh gosh!!!
its blowing wind out and yet i dunno
start 'vacuum' the carpet
end up the wind blow up all the dust
then when the clever me 'vacuum' the wire,wall,cupboard...
it blows up all the dust as well..
then i saw all dust flying here and there
i try to be clever
point the pipe to the dust hoping tat it can suck into the machine
oh the stupid me.. the more i point
the more they flying around!!!
end up.. the whole room is so so dusty
until my mom run in asking wat happen!
and stil
i dunno tat its the blowing hole!!!
until when i go to the living to vacuum the sofa
then only i noe its the blowing 1!!!
oh gosh!
luckily i realised earlier b4 i finish work
or not Louis must be cursing me for 'polluting' his air!
hahahaha
me and mom laugh laugh laugh!!

back to my role in my family
basically i did ntg
help my mom clean abit
and continue kacau my baby rabbit
and counting on how many new year clothes i hav bough
