i guess everybody knows that now is the season of durian..
im a durian lover...
i love durian very very much..
and im so happy that my beloved dy dy bought durian..
the picture above is cat hill king "猫山王“。
dont ask me how 2 differentiate it..
i only know the name...
hehe..cause my dad is the 1 who told me...

this is how the meat look like...
look at the colour...
it can make me mad...
is your mind now thinking how nice it is?
feel like touching it n feel how tender is the meat?
how soft is it?
how juicy is it?
uh hmmmm...
stop dreaming...
durian is not juicy...
hahaha....
1ce i bite i can feel that everything around me has changed to durian..
even louis will be in green..

this is the famous D24..
accordig to the adult say..
it has some alcohol taste...
hmmm...
maybe its real..
but i dun really know..
as i will just eat it til it bald...
muahahaha...

it will be more expensive compare to the normal durian..
try it...
its really nice...

look at the meat again..
it is in this perfect golden yellow..
i cant wait to eat it...
but still i have to pause 1 second to take its photo..
i sacrifice alot for this food blog..

after cleaing all the meat of durian...
we will take out the sea salt which bought by my sister duno from where..
curious?
y wanna take out sea salt?
its the traditional recipe after eating durian..
to lower down the heat in our body...

ok....like this...
the empty house of the durian will be place like this...
then follow like the picture below...

pour some of the salt on it....
some only...
not too much...
if not it will be taste worse than the dead sea wwater..

then add some water n dilute the salt....
that will be the best way to avoid getting sick after eating durian..
because durian is kinda heaty...

it is purple in colour (outer part)
but but but but but.....

it is white inside..
it look so beautiful right???

and the taste of this fruit is yummy!!!!!

this is oso a must order when i come here!!!
the deep fried pork rib add on the marmite sauce!!
the pork rib is marinated b4 they deep fried it~
so it taste so good!! soft! and juicy!
and then the marmite taste sweet!

I NOE ~ teo Chew Kuih is yummylicious!
u can find this in KL as well ( but very few stall selling this )
'they' face 'extinction'

this is the salty glutinous rice 咸糯米饭
its actually glutinous rice fried wif some dried shrimp~
and then make it in shape~ put on some cha siew on top of it~
( as an indicator tat this is SALTY version )

the white 1 is the sweet glutinous rice 甜糯米饭
which is actually glutinous rice wif some white tau sah in the middle~
this is yummy as well!!!

the left 1 is the Mangkuang Kuih 笋粿
the middle 1 is the White Kuih （白）包饭粿
the right 1 is the Black Kuih （黑）包饭粿
okay! i admit i'm not good in naming this ~~~

after u've order wat u wan~
the guy there wil pan fried it for u~~
i order 10 pieces of the salty 1 and 5 pieces of the sweet 1~~
of course da bao balik KL lah...
hahahaha~~~
it taste GOOOD!!
eventhough the nex day i juz heat it up wif the oven toaster~
it stil taste nice as before!!!
i prefer the salty 1 as it fried wif the dried shrimp..
making it taste so good!!!

this is the fried till crispy Chef Recommended Pork Chop
Minus Mark : i saw 1 rice on the pork chop!
the pork chop remains juicy and tender after being fried in the boiling hot oil
it taste slightly salty if u taste it juz like tat..
but it goes well wif the fried rice~~~

the egg fried rice is ntg great to shout out about..
juz normal rice fried wif egg and some green onion~
the rice is a bit tasteless..
but when u eat it wif the Pork Chop~
it wil taste better...
errr.... to me.. this is... okay lah....

as for dessert
i order the Ginko yam Paste 白果芋泥
this is YUMMY!!!
the yam paste is NIC!!!
wif the ginko on top which is YUMMY as well~~
i love it!
but it come in very TINY BOWL!

it is near to the tan chong building if im not mistaken is near complex wawasan.

a nice place to go but make sure you have what in your mind.

coz butter is "ngao mei"
my fren: tiff, u auta..butter and kaya is the best combination"

but guys..even without the butter...
i feel the toast is perfect..

which is a must try in their menu..
it comes with their famous kaya..
u just nid to cut it into small pieces n dip with their kaya..
that moment, u will feel that u r at the higest point of ur life..

she is a mee sua lover..
i know, the fried mee sua look not tempting..
guys...it is so yummy til even when you dream also you can dream about it.
the mee sua is abit starchy..
the taste its just nice...
it fried with pork, fish cake, vegetables.. and uncountable ingredients...

u can find this mee rebus stall THERE!!!!
the mee rebus stall is the 1st stall at the lorong..
and then wil be the drinks stall and the chinese stall selling prawn mee...
the MEE REBUS here is VERRRRYYYYYYYYYY YUMMYYYYYYYYYY!!!

this little stall only sell there stuff
which is the mee rebus, rojak, and rojak mee!
dont look down at this lorong stall stall...
they do hav compliments from newspaper as well!!

but when u eat it wif the mee rebus..
they are PERFECT!!!
the mee rebus 'sauce' is SO GOOD!

* TARC Restaurant *

inside TARC~
there is a restaurant inside which is a place for those hotel management student to handle the restaurant~
inside. they hav the capten,waitress,chef which are all MADE IN TARC~
i went once b4 wif mei ying and bao bei~
and we are REALLY IMPRESS of the food tat they served!!!
this time~
we make a reservation 1 week earlier for 13 places~
ended up only 11 of us
but its still fun to eat wif all of them as we seldom eat together~~
a memorable day~
too bad we din take picture!!

but..to my suprise~ its ntg SPECIAL la~~~

me , siao ying, bao bei ,mei ying and shu pyng go for this Penne with Braised Chicken Fricasse
errr.. according to them.. this is the BEST MAIN COURSE among the 3~
hahahaha~
is the penne + chicken cooked wif white sauce..
and then put some cheese at the top~
send it to the OVEN and BAKED it for AWHILE!
this is NOT BAD~
but overall is TOO DRY!
complain: NOT ENOUGH SAUCE lah~~~~
the chicken is DRY as well~~

As for desert,
siao ying go for the Chocolate Walnut Pie~
which is TASTE WEIRD TO US!
the pie is abit... weird??
the taste is abit... weird?
errr~ its weird! there's some taste inside.. i dunno wat taste is it..

according to my mom..
its too watery~ not so yummy lah...

a bowl of hot soup served once u sit down!

not so yummy as i expect~
but i stil taste good~
i finish it before the 'main course' arrive..

soft . smooth . Juicy.
its juz so good as the 1st time i try it...

the cheese baked rice wif chicken chop~
i found out tat its VERY HOT once u 'dig' the rice out which is at the bottom of the cheese..
hahah~ must becareful when u eat this!
the cheese is very good of course..
the chicken chop is soft and smooth~
overall i feel its not bad~
there's a leaf at the bottom of the rice...
DO NOT EAT THE LEAF!
i eat 1 mouth..til i ask my fren..' can this leaft be eaten? ' ** DUN LAUGH **

u can choose either the rice or the spagetti..
if u're nt tat hungry~
i advise u to take the spagetti instead of the rice..
or else, i afraid tat u cant finish everything!!!!
there's a layer of cheese on top of the curry~

i found out tat this is too oily~
yea~ i admit its crispy~
but minus marks for its oily!

i go thr early~~ so i got a place for me~

there are lots of food inside~~
different different stall inside~
chicken rice~ mee ~ western food~
i use around 15 minutes to think wat i wan~~

the kai si hor fun which is my favourite as well!

so long we din visit TBR looo...
last semester we visit TBR at least 3 times in a week~
this sem there is only 1 day for us to enjoy our recess time!!

siao ying order the orange juice ( freshly squeeze )
while i order the longan juice~
i'm hunting for longan!
wahahahaha

as usual sy wil go for the pan min soup~
which she hav a special way to enjoy her pan min soup~

there comes the hot boiling juz cooked pan min soup!!!
muahahahaha~
she wil 1st drink a mouth of the ORI soup~~

thr comes the chilies!!!

sy nid 2 bowl of chillies!
which is FULL!

pour in 2 bowls of chillies!!!!!
juz pour in without thinking!

and the ORI pan min now become the SPICY pan min~
which sy love it so much~

but its too spicy to me!
i din touch the chillies at all when i order the pan min!
